Adventures In XNA Posing Entry 9: One of Many

Greetings folks, welcome to another late night edition of this (Its becoming abit of a habit). I've acquired more MK Models for my program and this time, I've managed to get alternate costumes for some characters. Admittedly, I've only gotten the chance to do some posing with one of them but nevertheless I have them now. I'm currently working on my first comic with actual dialog, nervously I'll admit as I don't exactly have any experience with any kind of decent writing much less character dialog but I'm doing it. Now to get on with this week's pictures. Some simple ones done with my newly found Ermac model in his alternate costume (One of my favorites). For this, I simply used a default model from the program in the form of the Croft Manor Backyard as well as a custom Sky dome for the sky.

Adventures In XNA Posing Entry 8: A Little Thunder And A Tribute

Hello everyone, welcome to this week's entry. Now there are a lot of pictures this time around. This happened as a result of a pic I was working on. It soon gave me idea after idea after idea and before I knew, I made my first action comic. Its pretty much one character only, but I feel the amount to time I put into it is worth it. In it are a default character model I only just discovered and I got some new Lightning as well as blood effects. And the title you ask, that would be:

So that's it for me today, finally an entry posted earlier in the day after two weeks of last minute posting. Before I do leave, I want to say this:

 

Earlier today, I was reminded of just how precious life is and how in a split-second, it can go just like that. Allan Simonsen was a race car driver competing in one of my favorite races, the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Sadly, he would not be able to make it past the first hour as he passed away from fatal injuries suffered in a crash at lap 3. He was a good friend and great competitor to many, He'll be missed.

Adventures In XNA Posing Entry 5: Some Mortals Involved In Combat

Hello everyone, welcome to the fifth entry here. Abit of a short one today (and kinda late if I'm honest) but still with content I hope for everyone to enjoy. This particular one is very special because I introduce some new characters I have acquired from another series. If the title isn't already obvious, its Mortal Kombat. I'd been on abit of an acquiring spree for new backgrounds, props, objects and characters. First thought that came to mind was "Hey, lets see if they have anything from MK". I couldn't be more right or happy for that matter to find them. While I wasn't able to find all the models, I did find quite abit and am actually pleased as many of them are perfect for the stories I have in mind and to make it even better, I found a nice set of MK personal items and weapons as well. Anyhow, here are some teaser pics for two of the characters in some of the new enviroments I downloaded:

That's it for this time around. There will be plenty more of the MK characters in many new pictures.

For now, I've only got things in mind for MK and Tekken this time around as I know both series the best. I might do a crossover every now & then, but the main focus will be on these series. See you around next time.
