Adventures In XNA Entry 112: Father's Day Edition

Welcome to today's entry, which is uncharacteristically way earlier then the last few weeks. Loads and loads of MKX content to get to so lets not waste time:

Scorpion Hanzo Hasashi

You may recall seeing the Hanzo Hasashi form of Scorpion in a previous entry. That one was a model from the IOS version of the game whereas this one is from the PC/Console version of the game and extracted by Romero so the quality is much higher and has more bones on it. Though some of the bones are abit difficult to move (the fingers in particular), this is hands down the best Model to have and to make things even better, he has accessories which are not only can be toggled on ut are also available in a separate pack.

Scorpion Accessories Pack

So here they are, the accessories of Scorpion. These include the Ninjutsu Sword and the Skull, both of which can also be turned on the model, as well as the Minion and the Chain Spear. Overall, a very nice and functional set of thins to use. Definitely worth having.

Kitana Klassic

The first of two outfits downloaded last week. I already thought the MK9 classic costume was on point and then Netherrealm outdoes themselves with this one.

Kitana Tournament

The second of two outfits downloaded. I've waiting for this to have the same high quality treatment the other PC/Console models have had (not the bland standard of the IOS model) and finally I found it. Its easily one of my favorite Kitana costumes because of how it improves on her MK9 look and does more with it.

Mileena Klassic

Now for the first of two new costumes for Mileena. My same opinions of the Kitana costume apply here as well, mostly since its the exact same. This costume does show me though a pigment difference between Kitana and Mileena that I somehow didn't pick up on before so that was an interesting small detail to notice.

Mileena Vampiress

The second of the Mileena costumes downloaded. The look really suits Mileena not just for the obvious reasons but because only she cold pull off this outfit with her ruthless, seductive and savage personality.

 Takeda Takashi

The first of two Takeda outfits, beginning with his armor. Great details just about littered throughout this costume. My only complaint (which has more to do with Netherrealm) is the purple and sand-ish color. I think some better colors should have been used, like Black & gold as it would make a nice contrast to the boots. Still, great job.

Takashi Takeda Shirai Ryu

The second Takashi Takeda costume, his Shirai Ryu outfit. Felt this was a great Costume design wise and the quality is just as seller.

Tanya

One of two versions of  Tanya downloaded. This one as she appears via the recently released pack including her. While her costume is a dramatic change from her classic look (both in color combo and how much of her it covers), the bottoms are still similarly style after her MKD outfit. The detail is again, immense and hard to miss.

Tanya Beta

The second Tanya model, her model as she first appear in NPC form. Apart from the color hue and shortened hair (along with the missing white eyes), not all that much different from the one recently released. Does seem to show just how far along this was that she got turned into a playable character and offers some hope that the same could happen with Baraka and possibly Rain.

D'Vorah

The first of two D'Vorah outfits. This one is her default, including a very interesting cape. The detail just in it is insane and then the whole model itself is interesting.

D'Vorah Kytinn Queen

The second D'Vorah outfit, the Kytinn Queen. Once again, the amount of detail in this model is just insane. From the coat to the gaunlets on her arms. Both come with wins and ovipositors that can be toggled on or downloaded in a separate set.

And of course, this wouldn't be a father's day entry without showing off some of the fathers:

Thats it for today, thanks goes to sticklove for most of these models. Hope you appreciate what your dads have done for you not just today but every day. Happy Father's Day and see you next week.
