Adventures in XNA Posing Entry 4 (Memorial Day Edition)

Greetings everyone. As promised, today's entry takes place on what I hope has been a good memorial day for all of you. This time around, I post that second series of pictures I've done. This just involved one character (Jun Kazama to be exact) and is really a test of changing facial expressions as well as my first pictures using the "Optional items" setting I just discovered. As you'll notice, she is missing her scarf as well as that little thing in her hair. Anyway, this is just a sequence of her from waking up to answering the door. Not all that special but again practice with a sequence that takes place over more then my usual four pictures. Anyhow, here they are:

So that's it for this time, another short entry but one I hope everyone has enjoyed. As I close out this entry, I leave you with special theme XNA picture given today's holiday. Hope you all have had a wonderful Memorial Day.

Adventures in XNA Posing Entry 3 (Delayed addition)

I want to apologize for this very late entry. Been spending a lot of time with a family relative in the Hospital (as well as getting carried with Indy 500 Qualifying and the NASCAR All-Star Race). Because I only managed  a few pictures this week as well as Memorial Day coming, I'll post a very short one today and on Monday, I'll post a special Memorial Day edition. For now, I'll post all of the ones I did this from the week before. This is the first of two groups of pictures where my objective here was to practice a series of pictures in the same place with a scenario that changes over more then the regular four pictures I usually do. The first of these features Steve Fox and Leo Kliesen as they managed to find and get what the Mishima Zaibatsu have been trying to. Without further delay, here they are:

That's it for now. Enjoy your Memorial Day weekend. I will see you on Monday.

Adventures In XNA Posing Entry 2

Before I start, you may have noticed that the original first post has been deleted and reposted. That was because there an issue with the link as well as the links. I decided to repost it and now it works fine. Anyhow, on to this time's entry:

So this time, I've managed to pump out a immense amount of pictures and pose as well as continually get new models to pose. Here's some recent pictures I've done:

As usual, all the new pictures can be found in my gallery. My most recent pictures can be found in my gallery here.

Well, that's it for this week's edition. From this point on, I will be posting this entry once every week. All will show a few of my many new pics. See you next week and happy Mother's day.

Adventures In XNA Posing Entry 1: An introduction

So two weeks ago, I finally came across the program that uses extracted character models, maps and items from games and allows users to play around with them. No, it wasn't GMOD (Because I cannot afford that) and its not SFM (despite that its free, its not exactly what My laptop can run). Its XNA Posing Studio (also apparently called "XNALara") and its really cool. Its allowed me to finally do something I've for the longest time have wanted to do and that's make my own kind of fanart/stories and whatnot with the very same Game models I've seen. Because of that, I will be starting my own series of comics using various characters. Here are just some examples of what I could do using just the default stuff that came with it on the very first day of using it:

At the moment, many of my pictures from the program (which can be seen in my album gallery here) have been mainly experimenting with different moods and settings (while using mainly characters from one series) and continues to grow, with more to soon involve multiple characters and abit more expression in said pics.

This is also an introduction to an upcoming pin-up series that I've had planned for a while and can now do called "Club Seven". The title is inspired by a series of music videos with go-go dancers called "Vanity 9" (A "Making of" video with it can be found here) and likewise before I found out how not so good my Laptop was at running Source Film Maker, that's originally what this was going to be. It'll instead be a series of video montages with various said characters in various wares such as Summer outfits, Bikinis and anything else under pin-up material. Once things are set, I hope to have these going every Saturday.

So in short, I basically have a lot of plans for this program. Many posts in this blog entry will be just me posting new pics from the program. Think of this as sort've a "Drawfriend" like thing, but far less popular. I'll post a separate blog for each new video for Club Seven as well as for the comic while posting links to them in this blog. Looking forward to posting up all the latest stuff for me in XNA
